The Coordinator of Digital Engagement and Annual Giving will focus on strategy fundraising for the Taylor Fund through social media campaigns, a digital engagement team, work with a digital portfolio, and senior giving initiatives. Additionally, the Coordinator will provide oversight of alumni participation goals and stewardship of mid-level and below donors.

This position is primarily responsible to:

  • Testify to personal experience of salvation in Jesus Christ, affirm belief in the University's Statement of Faith, abide by and practice our Life Together Covenant, and both personally agree with and support the Foundational Documents of Taylor University.

  • Plan and implement of fall day of Giving and a spring #ILoveTU initiative.

  • Facilitate fall and spring calling with the digital engagement team.

  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage each semester's calling team and floor managers.

  • Direct and oversee the development of creative projects utilizing new technologies.

  • Develop and maintain a digital portfolio.

  • Create strategies and initiatives for alumni participation, stewardship of donors, and relationship development with the students through work and donor education.

  • Work alongside Director of Alumni Relations and senior representatives on the senior giving program.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Background in successfully managing an annual fundraising initiative.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to see the larger Advancement picture although responsibilities are project-based.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and with the Ellucian CRM Advance Data system (or similar).

  • Ability to handle confidential materials and situations with good judgement, sensitivity, and discretion.

  • Experience in managing a calling or digital engagement program.

  • Track record of developing relationships that have resulted in philanthropic gifts.

  • Experience with social media and digital technologies for messaging and marketing initiatives.

  • Physical Demands

  • May be required to lift light to moderate objects, 25 lbs. or less, and climb stairs.

  • Required to view electronic screens for extended periods of time.

  • Occasionally required to attend Advancement activities and events outside of the normal workday.

  • Work Environment

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior / office work environment.

  • Environmental Conditions

  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
