How we LEAD:
Universal Music Group is looking for a Coordinator, Digital Advertising/Influencer Planning to be a part of the Virgin Music Group Product Strategy & Operations team located in Beverly Hills, CA. You will be expected to support the paid media team across insights, analytics and planning advertising and influencer campaigns.
Responsibilities include support for the media team in the full cycle of an advertising campaign that involves RFPs, planning, implementation, and reporting of campaigns. This role will also manage and own the billing process for the department as well as organizing and coordinating media team responsibilities/meetings.
A secondary part to this role will be to manage and support the influencer marketing side of the business. You will be expected to liase with influencer agencies during the RFP process, offer insight on proposals, and manage communications between the agency and label/managers.
The role will effectively support all marketing and promotional plans across audience building, influencer marketing and advertising campaigns for the entire Virgin Music Group services roster as well as all company portals and select distribution partners.
How you'll CREATE:
Support the media team through the entire advertising campaign cycle- planning to reporting
Develop robust RFPs to outside advertising and influencer agencies while also managing those relationships with 3rd party vendors
Liase with the buying team (UMG) to execute campaigns through Monday.com and manage those relationships
Develop post campaign reports to send to key stakeholders and utilize Datorama to pull stats
Opportunity to grow into a media planner with ability to own campaigns start to finish
Assess new partners in the marketplace and recognize opportunity
Report on analytics across online properties as well as stay up to date with digital marketplace and advertising news
Audience targeting and building strategy on multi-targeting groups (retargeting, engaged, similar artists, lookalike audiences, lifestyle/niche, purchasers), via advanced platforms (IG, IGS, FB, YT, TW, Snap, TikTok, Programmatic) with on-going optimization
Assist in executing partner digital on boarding: in-depth social audits, identifying growth trends, engagement rates, top performing content, audience insights, on-going audience analysis
Manage communications between the internal teams and influencer agencies as we source and build influencer campaigns tying directly into advertising initiatives and other digital initiatives

Presentation, communication and analysis skills, both written and verbal, with an eye towards problem solving.
Knowledge of social media best practices and how to put together a social media plan, audience building strategy across multiple genres and targets.
Understanding of the technology and marketplace powering today and tomorrow's music industry, along with a desire to be on top of every new digital trend, meme, and platform
Candidates should be creative, innovative, organized, detail-oriented and resourceful. Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to analyze data and gather insights from the data to inform paid/organic initiatives
Passion for music and developing artists and strong understanding of the music industry
Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize based on evolving workload

Experience:
Experience with FB ads manager, TikTok ads manager, Google Adwords, programmatic advertising preferred
Knowledge of Photoshop, WordPress, Drupal, etc. preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, familiarity with MRC Music Connect, Uniport/SAP
Proven success working across internal and external teams in a dynamic team environment
Music industry or advertising agency experience preferred
