The Coordinator, Communications will execute marketing strategy for Excela Health. The incumbent will be responsible for communicating with service line leaders about marketing initiatives. He or she will update and create messaging for public marketing materials, print and outdoor advertising and write copy for both media and system websites with attention to brand integrity.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop internal and external advertising campaign budgets and ensure campaign operates within that budget.

  • Oversee execution of marketing plans and programs, both short and long rage, to ensure profit, growth and expansion of services.

  • Mentor and train junior level coordinators and designers who prepare advertising programs.

  • Develop content for creative team.

  • Approve the work of external and internal creative team on content and graphic design.

  • Prioritize and control production of advertising.

  • Lead editing sessions.

  • Coordinate delivery of production to media outlets.

  • Prepare Excel spreadsheets for marketing, communications, advertising and budget initiatives.

  • Coordinate and produce quality, creative and compelling proposals, presentations and other business development and marketing materials for senior executives and board of trustees.

  • Involved in all aspects of web design, such as testing the website and identify any problems.

  • Work with web vendors to provide updates including service line hours of operation, staffing changes, physical address moves, etc.

  • Gather data for creating and submitting corporate 990.

  • Share branding standards for vendors creating digital and physical collaterals.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field and 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, writing, public relations, and/or digital marketing/social media marketing.

  • Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

  • Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice.

  • Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Proficiency in Web Content Management Systems.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Proficiency in DotNetNuke wed-editing environment preferred.

  • Understanding of AP writing style preferred.

This Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is primarily supporting our dynamic Nursing team. This position is responsible to plan, develop and implement recruitment and staffing strategies for our Nursing division within Excela Health with special emphasis on a well-qualified and diverse pool of candidates, exceptional internal and external customer support, process improvement, and cost effectiveness. Responsible for managing all aspects of the recruiting process from non-exempt through Director level positions as well as leading HR projects. Proactively develops and executes effective recruitment strategies to enhance talent pool for Excela Health Medical Group b. Coordinates necessary campaigns to target and attract robust candidate pipelines across a diverse range of business areas leveraging technology, social media sourcing and branding tools to support attraction. c. Organizes and executes recruitment events for Excela Health. Attends externalr ecruiting events as a representative of Excela Health promoting a positive organizational image with professional branding campaign d. Participates in education programs that offer students in secondary and elementary schools to market diverse healthcare opportunities as their profession of choice. e. Tracks and analyzes recruitment efforts through regular reporting/metrics to maintain LEAN practice and continuous improvement efforts. 2. Reviews applications in Applicant Tracking System, selects candidates for Select International screening, schedules and conducts interviews to match knowledge, skills and abilities with specific job related requirements. a. Performs behavior, competency and skill based interviews to assess candidate qualifications against agreed upon job description requirements.. b. Conducts pre-employment testing as necessary c. Partners with hiring Mangers to select top quality candidates for hire. Makes all official job offers. d. Ensures references and criminal background checks are completed as well as processing of all necessary back end new hire paperwork e. Partners with the compensation department and communicates appropriate compensation offer for candidate, utilizing Excela Health Pay Practice Guidelines. f. Determines and communicates appropriate benefit package information for candidate, at the time of interview 3. Follows all established standard work guidelines relating to correspondence to applicants and employee a. Ensures follow up with all candidates post interview. 4. Maintains documentation on Sign-on Bonus. 5. Communicates with employees and management, as necessary. a. Answers questions regarding Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations as required. Stays current with policy and legal updates. b.
