Assists Account Managers and Account Executives by performing various administrative and clerical functions necessary for maintaining accounts.


  • Inputs changes into computer (such as renewals) and files various items electronically in EPIC document management system.

  • Follows up with the insurance companies for outstanding policies, endorsements, etc.

  • Prepares I.D. cards, certificates of insurance, Accord applications, binders and cancellations under the direction of Account Manager or Account Executive.

  • Maintains the Department's suspense file both electronic and manual for various correspondence and endorsements.

  • Performs basic policy checking.

  • Processes premium and non-premium endorsements.

  • Performs audit checking and billing.

  • Performs maintenance and follow-up for timely receipt of audits.

  • Responsible for training new clerks and trainees.

  • Must maintain phone coverage for receptionist or teammate in his/her absence.

  • Will assist on various projects as needed and assigned by Department Manager.

  • Matches mail; i.e. policies, endorsements, pending mail, copies.

  • Operates standard office machines; i.e. fax, copier.



  • Minimum one year of office clerical and administrative experience

  • Must be computer literate with proficiency in basic Word and Excel skills

  • Must be experienced with policy checking

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required


  • College degree or agent's Property & Casualty Insurance license

  • EPIC Agency Mgmt experience

  • Experience working with commercial lines accounts

Provides a specialized service requiring an understanding of relevant practices, theories, policies, procedures, principles and compliance oversight. Job Responsibilities: (Residency Training Programs) Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; providing support to the Program Directors, Residents and support staff with the day-to day operations of the Residency Training Programs. Maintain all accreditation statuses by adhering to accreditation guidelines for multiple residency training programs. Assist with the interview, orientation and graduating requirements for the residents as mandated by the Accrediting bodies, State Board and Program. Strategic planning initiatives related to program evaluations, duty hours and didactics. Develop, organize, maintain and retrieve information/permanent records, such as verifications of training from multi-disciplinary filing systems and databases. Manages and oversee the logistics for all educational activities and experiences.
