Job Overview:

Coordinates operational and technical functions of the ICVL. Maintains daily operation of all equipment within the department including scheduling of PM visits and service calls.

Manages imaging system and hemodynamic system, ensures function and is first call for troubleshooting. Oversees XRAY system, safety badge and lead vest QA. Ensures completion and documentation for all point of care equipment in the department.

Oversees recruitment and performance evaluation of technical /CVT staff. Acts as preceptor/trainer as needed for new technology and procedures. Oversees data migration across systems and acts as a liaison to the IT department.

Functions as needed in clinical role, Administers individualized, professional patient care through efficient knowledge and safe practice of ICVL. Assumes responsibility for patient care and monitoring before, during and after procedures. Executes special assignments within the department as needed. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience; Invasive Cardiology

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Licensed RT or RCIS

• BLS certification required, or completion of requirements for BLS certification within 90 days of hire to the unit.
