Specific Functions/Activities Summary
The Coordinator Business Solutions will assist the Business Solutions team with day-to-day operations
Assist in creating customized proposals for potential and current partners including copywriting, page layout, meeting notes, recap and analysis Think analytically and creatively in both proposing and carrying out ideas, with basis of knowledge for how sponsorships/partnerships work Ability to ideate on partner objectives, build a marketing a promotion strategy around idea and execution plan Overall understanding of Partnerships' elements (e.g. signage, digital and experiential marketing) Research including category analysis, best practices in partnership activation and insights and analytics projects throughout the sales process. Interacts with other MSG divisions, included but not limited to, prospective / current corporate partners and outside vendors in executing partnership related activities and events Support the overall operation of the Business Solutions team including participation in special projects as well as special events Manage internal communication newsletter to share research, category renewals and platform information across the department on a monthly basis. Undergraduate degree is a must, Preferred: Minimum of two (2) year's work experience in sports/entertainment, marketing or event management
Keen attention to detail, exceptional creative thinking abilities, ambitious, positive, curious and outgoing attitude, excellent organizational skills
Working knowledge of the Knicks, Rangers, eSports (CLG, Knicks Gaming) and MSG Signage, Working knowledge of partnership activation, sponsorship and sports / entertainment marketing partnerships best practices
Proficiency in digital and social strategies for brands, especially in the sponsorship space
Ability to convey thoughts, concepts and ideas through brainstorms, writing, proposals, meeting notes, research, presentation decks and best practices
Proficient writing and comprehension, ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment with exceptional communication skills
Ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) a plus
EducationCandidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
