The Coordinator will play a key role in revenue generation by identifying, securing, and managing sponsorship opportunities that align with the Arizona Arts Live mission. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to create compelling proposals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Description

Prospect Identification and Outreach:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential corporate sponsors and foundations that align with Arizona Arts Live's goals.
  • Develop a targeted outreach strategy to solicit sponsorships, ensuring alignment with organizational values and objectives.

Sponsorship Inquiries Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming sponsorship inquiries, providing timely and informative responses.
  • Develop and maintain a database of potential and current sponsors to streamline communications and track engagement.

Marketing Material Development:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director and creative team to design persuasive marketing materials for sponsorship proposals, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
  • Tailor marketing materials to meet the specific interests and needs of potential sponsors.

Networking and Relationship Building:

  • Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and potential sponsors.
  • Represent Arizona Arts Live in community and industry settings, enhancing visibility and fostering partnerships.

Market Trends and Industry Insights:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and economic factors that may impact sponsorship opportunities.
  • Analyze and report on market conditions to inform strategic planning and decision-making.

Proposal Writing and Documentation:

  • Prepare comprehensive and persuasive sponsorship proposals tailored to individual prospects, highlighting the benefits and impact of partnership.
  • Ensure all sponsorship agreements are documented and comply with organizational policies, including managing gift documentation and intentions.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sponsorship initiatives, providing regular reports to the Marketing Director on progress, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
  • Use data and insights to refine strategies and enhance future sponsorship efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required.
  • One year of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising, marketing, or business development, preferably in the arts or nonprofit sector.
