JOB DESCRIPTION

MarVista Entertainment is seeking a Coordinator, A/V Deliverables to support its Content Operations team. This role will be focused on coordinating all incoming and outgoing A/V and all down-streaming efforts as related to production, marketing, distribution, and sales. The person in this role will require technical knowledge of film specs, such as frame rate, metadata, aspect ratios, etc., and a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro. Speed and accuracy are essential to a role where they will be handling multiple shows in one week. They need to be organized, detail-oriented, and have an inbox-zero mindset, when it comes to communicating with internal and external partners.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately track all incoming Audio/Visual assets

  • Work with vendors to QC all shows

  • Work with internal parties to ensure assets received are acceptable

  • Update the inventory system as new media assets are received

  • Coordinate the approval process of incoming materials

  • Coordinate and facilitate creation of assets (such as closed captions, broadcast script, audio description, etc.) with external vendors

  • Create selected assets in house (screeners, proxies, video masters)

  • Ingest and organize all digital assets for review and mastering process

  • Provide visibility into the status of the of each show

  • Provide additional support as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 2+ years of related experience in audio visual content, at a studio, lab, film or post production facility

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Understanding of frame rate, codecs, resolutions, and audio specifications

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in various phases of the process in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to meet firm deadlines that cannot be pushed

  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidential information

  • Strong ability to plan, prioritize and apply appropriate resources

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to learn thoroughly and quickly

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $22.25-27.00 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
