Responsible for managing daily transfer credit processes including the receipt, workflow and posting of incoming transcripts.
Serves as the initial and primary point of contact for excess hours processes, troubleshooting, and student support.
Serves as the point of contact and subsequently prepares excess hours files for appeals upon inquiry and request of the student.
Reviews student records and approves edits to student excess hours counts in accordance to 1009.286, F.S.
Responsible for the university's online major change process and managing the process in accordance to university policy.
Monitors and troubleshoots automated transfer credit posting process within PeopleSoft.
Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting EDI Transcript to ViewStar load process.
Serves as a liaison to advisors and other university administrators on issues related to excess hours, transfer credit processing, catalog year changes and requirements, and the state's policy on continuous enrollment.
Formulas and recommends procedures and policies that lead to efficient processing of student record processes and record changes.
Provides supervision to one program assistant.
Provides excess hours training and outreach to advisors, departments, and student groups.
Serves on the University's Commencement Team.
Serves as a member of the Orientation Team.
Represents the department, as needed, on appropriate department, divisional, and university committees and projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
Additional Minimum Requirements Preferences
The ideal candidate will have experience in student affairs or enrollment services within a university setting with strong customer service experience, supervisory experience, demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with students, staff, and the public is critical to this position.
Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred.
