The Coordinator, Academic Programs position, coordinates academic affiliation agreement process.

Collaborates with educational institutions to monitor compliance with the affiliation agreements. Partners with schools to support workforce opportunities for Orlando Health. Participates or leads projects and initiatives that are supported by student services.

This is an exempt part-time position. Working remotely 80% of the time, require to attend in-person meetings, events, conferences. Must reside within the Central Florida area.

Responsibilities Essential Functions • Develops and maintains positive relationships within the corporation to identify information regarding workforce needs. • Researches academic institutions to determine potential for affiliations with Orlando Health. • Coordinates the development and maintenance of non-physician academic affiliation agreements. • Collaborates with both Orlando Health and the academic institution's risk management and/or legal services in development and revision of affiliation agreements to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. • Develops and maintains positive relationships with local county school system faculty and administration in supporting the National Academy Foundation (NAF). • Develops and maintains positive relationships with academic institutions to support new program development, clinical affiliations and current programs enhancing student recruitment. • Partners closely with Medical Staff Services and Medical Education to collaborate on standardization of requirements. • Supports other areas of student services such as placement of students, Designated Educational Units, HR student issues. • Supports tuition reimbursement and scholarship programs to enhance team member career development and advancement for workforce solutions. • Promote a positive working environment and encourage team concept. • Evaluate program performance and effect change as needed to implement process improvement. Qualifications Education/Training Associate's Degree; RN preferred. Licensure/Certification Current licensure in the state of Florida required if clinical background.

Experience Five (5) years of experience in HR, Clinical Operations or Education required. Experience in program coordination, affiliation agreement process and presentation required.
