In this role you will report to the Director of Risk and work in concert with the Director of Training to ensure safety and security within the facilities at Provo Canyon School. You will be part of a highly skilled an professional team who monitors compliance with policies, state and federal laws, and regulatory requirements. The majority of your time will involve assisting the Director of Risk with the following functions:

  • Reviews camera footage to ensure appropriate and timely reporting of incidents.

  • Collect and screen all reports. Analyzes and trends data collected.

  • Identifies actual and potential risk situations.

  • Refers occurrences for follow-up to appropriate department or committee.

  • Receives immediate and concurrent reporting of adverse patient outcomes identified by the PI process.

  • Performs risk surveys and inspects patient care areas in concert with school's safety program committee objectives.

  • Reviews reports on facility and equipment to assess loss potential.

  • Receives and investigates reports to determine appropriate response and establish record keeping responsibilities.

  • Receives information (verbally or formally on the HPR/ Incident Report) from staff regarding patient events which may lead to a claim.

About the Role… The Governance, Risk and Compliance Team Lead reports to the Director of Technology Risk and has operational responsibility for Nu Skin's Global Governance, Risk & Compliance program Through execution of these programs, the Team Lead is responsible execution of a series of strategies, policies, and programs designed to limit information risk across the enterprise. Partnering with key stakeholders across Nu Skin, the Team Lead ensures that security and compliance risks related to information systems and assets are identified and managed to external regulatory requirements while also meeting internal policy requirements and control objectives. What you will do... * Assist in execution of a security risk management program that identifies, assesses, and reports on security risks – and consults on risk mitigation actions for the following: * Key Strategic Projects * Third Party Security Risk Assessments (including meeting PCI requirements) and Vendor Selection * Mergers and Acquisitions * Consult on Security reviews as required * Execute Nu Skin's security risk management vision, including framework baselining against security best practices (such as NIST, ISO, CoBiT, etc.) * Assist in delivery of a security risk management program that supports compliance and reporting requirements for SOX, PCI, GDPR and other reporting requirements * Champion Nu Skin's Security Policies, Standards, and Governance Program * Execute a global enterprise-wide multi-facing security awareness & education program (partnering with HR and Corporate Communications) * Proactively manage partnerships throughout security, technology, HR, Internal Audit, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and all other business stakeholders to identify and communication key security risks and effective mitigation solutions * Assist in implementation of Nu Skin's "Security First" roadmap with a focus on emerging risks, themes, prioritization; support country & regional laws, and along with industry regulations * Liaise with the 1st and 3rd lines of defense to foster the maturation of a global integrated assurance function * Monitor and report progress of corrective action remediation plans to senior management * Perform trend analysis, identifying opportunities for proactive process improvements Why we're excited about you… Mandatory Skills: * Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math or Physical Science * 4+ years of progressive Security related experience * Ability to work independently and within a team environment * Experience managing a team of Security professionals and creation of policy and awareness * Experience performing security assessments of third party (vendors, internal teams, etc.) * Ability to articulate practical application of the following standards: (ISO, PCI, NIST 800-53) * Excellent interpersonal skills are required with a demonstrated ability to support complex organizational relationship * Knowledge of OS, Application, Network, Physical, Personal, Database and Operations Security Desirable: * CISSP, CISM, CRISC or CISA certification * Experience successfully leading comparable information security, and governance teams.
