Menorah Medical Center, a 175-bed, acute care hospital located on the corner of 119th and Nall in Overland Park, serves our community's healthcare needs by providing compassionate care and some of the most advanced treatment options available in the Kansas City area. Responsible for the overall patient experience program at Menorah Medical Center.
Ensures all patient concerns/complaints/grievances receive immediate communication and/or attention and follow-up handled appropriately for maximum patient satisfaction.
Provides a mechanism that supports and monitors compliance with the Kansas Statutes governing patient rights and grievances, CMS, TJC and patient rights as well as the values and mission statement of Menorah Medical Center.
Coordinates discharge phone call program.
Responsibilities include but not limited to performance improvement activities, development and implementation of patient satisfaction and service recovery program.
Communicates appropriately with other departments to ensure resolution of each incident.
Responsible for responding to and follow up with the patient for all grievances, keeping in compliance with TJC and CMS standards.
Responsible for leading the organizations patient experience including committees and program and represent facility at any division patient experience meetings.
Other duties as assigned include volunteer/chaplaincy management and Hospital privacy officer.
Education: Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred
Knowledge/Professional Licensure/Registration/Certifications: Knowledge of general patient care activities. Conflict restitution, preparation of letters, reports.
Experience: Two years' experience in health care setting with patient contact preferred.
Computer software to include database management.
