The#Office of Clinical Trials-Finance is looking for a Clinical Trials Billing Compliance Coordinator.

Responsibilities:


Assist in the improvement of research billing procedures and development of documentation for compliance reporting.


Responsible for completing coverage analyses for clinical trials


Will provide guidance on billing compliance for internal stakeholders


Review clinical trial contract agreements


, informed consents, and other study related documents for consistency.# ## Negotiate with sponsors to pay for patient#s bills.


Assist in patient reimbursements for clinical trials in which a patient is injured


.# # Credentials and Qualifications:
## Bachelor#s degree


Minimum of five


(5) years# experience in a clinical setting, hospital business office, research operations, medical audit or case management.


Knowledge of CPT and ICD


-9(or ICD-10) coding preferred.


Knowledge of good clinical practices as set forth by federal regulations

Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma / GED (or higher) * 3 years of Supervisory / Leadership * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft business applications including Microsoft Word (create and save documents); Microsoft Excel (create, report, analyze and manipulate spreadsheets as well as present data); Microsoft Outlook (create, reply and send emails) * Experience with managing multiple operational teams or functions * Ability to work from 11:00am - 8:00pm EST Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree (or higher) * 3 years of supervisory / leadership or medical billing, laboratory, third party payers and / or managing accounts receivables experience Soft Skills: * Excellent interpersonal and communication (including excellent verbal and writing skills) * Experience with problem solving and analytical skills * Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines within standards * Adaptable and flexible with the ability to accept, create and manage change Careers with OptumInsight.
