SALARY GRADE NC09 SALARY RECRUITING RANGE $38,516.00 - $61,000.00.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits.

The salary grade for this position is NC09.   State employees are encouraged to apply for positions of interest even if the salary grade is the same as, or lower than, their current position.  If selected for this position, a new salary will be recalculated taking into consideration the quantity of relevant education and experience, funding availability, and internal equity.  Based upon these factors, a pay increase MAY result.

The Business Services Coordinator II Monitors and reviews Master Cooperative Agreements (MCA) itemized transactions and updates internal tracking systems. Validates and tracks expenditures for MCA 5, 14, and 40. Comprehensive understanding of C41M items as well as federal and state laws and regulations regarding expenditure of funds. Inputs Purchase Requests (PRs) utilizing eProcurement  for state requirements. Tracks and monitors expenditures using federal and state systems as well as internal funding ledgers.in accordance with internal and external SOP's.

The G6 (Information Management) Division of the North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) purpose is to provide service and support of all technology needs to the full time support staff of the North Carolina National Guard. The primary functions include Command, Control, Communications and Information Management (C41M). ?

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities listed below, along with the Minimum Education and Experience requirements, are REQUIRED to qualify for this position.  We will not review resumes in lieu of Experience and Education listed on the application.

To qualify for this position, applicants must document on the application that they possess ALL of the following:

  • Experience with managing fiscal and administrative requirements supporting federal and state

  • Experience with monitoring, reviewing, and processing fiscal and administrative actions to include itemized transaction validation and resolving any discrepancies identified

  • Experience analyzing, reviewing, validating, and tracking expenditures for Master Cooperative Agreement

  • Working knowledge of of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and information Management (C4IM) items as well as federal and state laws and regulations regarding expenditure of funds

  • Experience with reconciling WEX expense reports with internal records to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Experience assisting in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01 within 6 months of hiring.  Favorable completion of National Agency Check (NAC) current within 180 days.
