Sales Finance Co-Op

The Hershey Company is seeking to fill a co-op position within the Sales Finance area of our Finance organization.

The Co-op position requires a full-time (40 hours / week) commitment for 12 weeks in Summer 2020 followed by PT (15-20 hours / week) during the Fall Semester. Performance will be calibrated throughout the duration of the co-op opportunity.Successful co-ops may be considered for full time employment after completion of their college degree.

US Sales Finance

  • Provides analysis, commentaries, and supporting schedules that detail & summarize the financial performance of customers

  • Communicate with sales representatives and independently follow up on their requests

  • Use a business warehouse application in support of the trade promotion process and analysis activities

  • Leverages productivity tools to compile data into actionable formats that influence smart decisions

  • Assists Sales Finance personnel and customer teams to build their annual plan

  • Assists Sales Finance Analysts, Senior Analysts and Managers in their monthly close activities

  • Engage in aspects of customer waste reduction initiatives

The successful candidate will exhibit / possess:

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, entering your Junior or Senior year as of Summer 2020; majors in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and Economics are highly preferred

  • Preference will be given to students with a GPA of 3.2 or higher

Additional Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to and from work, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA for the duration of the internship

They provide extraordinary customer service to all our patients via face to face and phone interactions. Pharmacy Technicians professionally interact and communicate with Medical and Patient teams throughout the institution. They organize and manage stock to ensure smooth and efficient daily activities. The Penn State Health Outpatient Cancer Institute Pharmacy provides prescriptions for the Cancer Institute, Emergency Department, Same-Day Surgery Unit, Medical Group Clinics, as well as discharged patients and the "Meds to Beds" (RX2GO) program. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED required. 6 months of recent (within the past two years) experience in a retail pharmacy with: Educational background in medical terminology, sig codes and computer use Previous customer service skills Previous patient interaction and communication skills Previous third party billing and computer experience including prior authorizations, prescription refills and inventory management Minimum of 120 hours in an externship program PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certified Boards) required. Compounding experience- not required but recommended. Ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions required. Good verbal communication, professional, excellent typing skills and proficiency with Math and Algebra required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize required. Must pass a proficiency test with a 70% score PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to sit & walk constantly; stand occasionally. Able to lift 0-10 lbs constantly; 11-35 lbs occasionally. Able to carry 0-10 lbs frequently; 11-35 lbs occasionally. Able to push 0-10 lbs constantly; 11-20 lbs frequently; 21-50 lbs occasionally. Able to pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-50 lbs occasionally. Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.
