POSITION TITLE: Marketing Intern
DEPARTMENT: Marketing (Global and North America)
Are you interested in performing market research and producing marketing collateral that enables business growth in strategically-important market segments?
You will conduct research in various forms (face-to-face, surveys, online, etc.) to generate data and meaningful information to help generate insights and drive real business growth. You will learn about our products, customers and key markets as you create deliverables that help to optimally position our equipment, to equip and empower our team to succeed and to promote the BAC brand.
This will be a great opportunity to apply skills learned in undergraduate and graduate coursework in a B2B environment. You will enjoy leading and participating in projects that will advance your career in marketing and drive positive business results for BAC
Research key market segments and perform analysis to generate insights that will guide and inform growth initiatives for important BAC markets, both existing and new.
Participate in industry trade shows and webinars; visit BAC installation sites, interview customers & salespeople to discover, define and quantify market opportunities.
Collect information for the creation of simple case studies and project profiles to promote notable BAC solutions, capabilities and installations.
In collaboration with other BAC team members and design partners, create new online and print resources for customers and salespeople.
First year MBA or graduate marketing student preferred.
Undergraduate degree in engineering or technology discipline.
Fourth year undergrad marketing student may be considered, particularly with experience
Background in market research, product marketing or product management
Creative thinker with and hands-on approach to gathering information and insights
Must have grit:' perseverance and determination; energetic and ambitious
Emotionally-intelligent and collaborative; excellent team player with a bias for action.
Exceptional discernment, attention to detail and commitment to quality
Comfortable using quantitative and qualitative data to develop and tell a compelling story.
Skills and Abilities
Excellent writing in a variety of styles, including technical, web and script
Project leadership: ability to initiate a project and drive it to completion and manage a timeline, hold others accountable
Able to multitask and execute multiple projects at once
Proficient with Word and Excel; Excellent PowerPoint skills. SharePoint experience is a plus!
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign a plus.
Willingness and ability to quickly learn and use other software programs.
Experience (each is a plus!)
Demonstrated leadership experience with successful outcome
Development, implementation and management of marketing campaigns
