Reports to Project Engineer or Project Superintendent. Engineering role will involve assisting in obtaining, coordinating and distributing the information and authorizations required to construct the project on time, within budget and to the quality specified. Superintendent role requires maintaining daily contact with subcontractor's representatives, forepersons and other Turner Staff responsible for the protection and promotion of Turner Construction Company interests.

  • Student at a college or university offering degree programs; intense interest and passion for the Construction Industry and a desire to work in a team environment. Demonstrate leadership and Interpersonal skills.

    Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft office suite programs.

Supervision Exercised: Provides direction to clinical, technical, and clerical staff. General Summary: Primary responsibilities are to supervise non clinical staff; provide administrative support to physician leadership and department management; coordinate all forms of data collection and reporting; coordinates projects as assigned Works under the supervision of physician leadership Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Example of Essential Duties: 1. Ensures proper staffing levels in order to meet the demands of the Outpatient Surgery department. Effectively recruits, retains, evaluates, and disciplines staff. 2. Oversees support staff and ensures they are performing their functions correctly. 3. Coordinates and facilitates departmental AAAHC, CMS, Health Department, Fire Marshall and other surveys. 4. Researches and determines case profitability for new procedures. 5. Researches new cases to determine the needs of physicians, inventory, equipment, and develop new preference cards. 6. Ensures equipment is properly maintained and handles equipment failure/maintenance issues. 7. Accountable for the daily operation of the Outpatient Surgery schedule. 8. Oversees and assists the OPS Office Manager with the development of the physician block schedule. 9. Plans, develops, and coordinates departmental Infection Prevention program. 10. Plans, develops and coordinates required CMS quality reporting and benchmarking activities. 11. Oversees the credentialing and re-credentialing of OPS physicians. 12. Effectively communicate with the physicians and staff and keep them updated on issues of concern. 13. Provides input for employee evaluations. 14. Develop and review policies and procedures for the department. Conducts policy review for AORN, ASPAN or other organizational standards 15. Maintains a liaison role with staff, physicians, departments, etc. 16. Serve on committees and attend meetings as appropriate. 17. Addresses and solves problems with the scope of the job. 18. Evaluates the need for new equipment and supplies and makes recommendations. 19. Functions in the Clinical area as needed. Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to): 20. Analyze and interpret department financials and assist the OPS Financial Director with budget formation. 21. Perform clinical and/or clerical work for the betterment of OPS 22. Required to review and process required Toledo Clinic clinical services requirements 23. Assist/monitor physician and staff with work list compliance 24. Monitor and manage all monthly and weekly administrative and event reports as well as monitor and coordinate required accountability logs. 25. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Required: * At least 5 years of clinical perioperative experience required. * BLS and ACLS certification required. * Consistently arrives at work in professional attire, on time and completes all task within established timeframe. * Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles. * Previous surgical management experience and demonstrated verbal and written communications skills preferred. Education: * Bachelor's Degree Preferred: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current State of Ohio RN license - Preferred * Working Conditions: Exposure to infectious materials.
