Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to assist with the construction, erection, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures of cooling towers, by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with marking cutting and assembly lines on materials

  • Assists with the erection of framework

  • Fits and installs material as needed

  • Assists with the erection of scaffolding and the assembly of ladders

  • Maintain a clean worksite by making sure worksite is free of debris and trash

  • Provide crew with needed materials to perform the job

  • Roll-out tools at the beginning of the workday and put away tools at the end of the workday

  • Run extension cords as needed

  • Bolt and nail structure as directed

  • Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications.

  • Additional tasks as assigned by Foreman and/or Superintendent

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-12 months experience
