Description:

What are we looking for? The good news is that your training will teach you everything you need to know to succeed on the job. But there are a few skills you should have from the get-go: You're a fun and friendly person who values customers and takes absolute pride in everything you do. Communication skills are key - you're not going to be able to text message customers back and forth. In other words, you should be comfortable talking to strangers. You've got attitude - the right kind of course - and understand the need to be on time, all the time. With loads of energy, you understand that work is easier - and more fun - with some teamwork. And you're at least 16 years old - 18 with 2 years driving experience if you want to be a driver. Keep in mind, this is just basic information. You'll find out more after you apply. And independently-owned franchised or licensed locations may have different requirements.

Requirements

Ability to follow and execute directions as determined by supervisor; attention to detail; organization skills; ability to understand written and oral instructions; ability to communicate effectively; ability to forward information clearly and effectively; ability to work independently; customer service skills; and ability to meet deadlines. Must possess a current food handler card.

We are a true farm-to-table company with operations that touch every aspect of agriculture, including seed production, farming and ranching, plant sciences, fertilizer manufacturing, food processing, commercial product development, and distribution.</p><p>Summary</p><p>General Laborers work in various areas and perform a variety of jobs and tasks required to maintain smooth operation and to assist when specific needs arise.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Loads cardboard totes into tote erector, inserts liner and tote corners into finished tote</p></li><li><p>Monitors the unloading of raw product from trailer</p></li><li><p>Monitors production machinery and notifies maintenance or supervisor if attention is needed.</p></li><li><p>Inspects product for defects and removes foreign material from vegetables on a conveyer belt</p></li><li><p>Wears personal protective equipment while cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment during down time.
