Be part of the Saint Therese difference! We are seeking a Part-Time Cook to serve seniors with compassionate, supportive care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers.

One Part-Time Position available includes working every other weekend and every other holiday:

  • 16 hours a pay period
  • Every Other Weekend only
  • 10:00 am to 7:30 pm

Positions have the ability to pick up and work more hours but can fluctuate

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury.

Responsibilities:

The Cook is responsible for creating high quality food for customers by meal preparation and meal service consistent with established state and local food code and regulations, procedures and best practices. Job duties include cooking, baking, equipment and operations cleaning, etc.

Prepares hot and cold meals for residents, coffee shop and special functions, and performs general cleaning duties.

Special knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Ability to read English and follow diet cards, menus and production sheets.

  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.

  • Ability to communicate through oral and written skills.

  • Able to meet physical demands of position.

  • Able to read and follow production sheets, menus and recipes.

  • Able to communicate through oral and written skills.

  • Demonstrates good telephone courtesy.
