Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Full-time, Rotating Shift, Cook.

Full-time Hours with an Excellent Benefits Package!

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required / Experience in Lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted.

• Experience Required: Cook <1 year, Food Service- <1 year

(Up to $2,000 Sign-on Bonus for qualified candidates)

Prepares all hot foods for patient trayline, café, and functions including (but not limited to) entrees, vegetables, starches, and bakery items. Licensure: Food Handlers (as required by local Health Department). Experience in Lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted.

Full-time Rotating shift in the Food Services Department

Job Requirements:

Certified Food Service Handler's Card and/or ServSafe Food Handler (required upon hire)

As a cook you will prepare all hot foods for patient trayline, café, and functions including (but not limited to) entrees, vegetables, starches, and bakery items.
