This position is designed to support the operations of the McKeesport Corps PORT Weekday Soup Kitchen, specifically in the area of food service and preparation.
1.Design the menu for the PORT program2. Work with and coordinate volunteers in the PORT program3.
In the event of no volunteers for the PORT, prepare a balanced meal in a timely fashion for the program4. Maintain records of attendees in the PORT program5. Request necessary items from the Corps Officers for the PORT program6.
Maintain inventories of available food items for Salvation Army meal service programs7. Support in the preparation of meals-this includes but is not limited to the PORT and other feeding programs as determined by the Corps Officers8. Ensure that the kitchen, pantries, and resources of The Salvation Army stay clean and in proper working order at all times9. Any other tasks as designated by the Corps Officers that would be beneficial to the continued development of the McKeesport Corps feeding programs.
