The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. The Cook performs a variety of cooking and other food preparation activities in accordance with HAACP guidelines and department policies and procedures.
Assists in serving food as needed.
Performs daily care and maintenance of equipment, cleaning duties and waste disposal, quality improvement activities including, but not limited to, maintaining temperature logs and performing
Maintains an up-to-date inventory; rotates and manages stock; fills requisitions.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Degree or training in Culinary Arts preferred.
2 years of food services experience.
Serve Safe certification preferred.
