The purpose of this position is to prepare and provide food service to patients/clients and organizational functions in a cost-effective, efficient manner to safely meet needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. This position is supervised as designated on the agency organizational chart.

Required: Must possess a valid Kansas Drivers License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organizations insurability standard as defined by Midland policy.
Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. One year of experience in food service, cooking and kitchen duties. Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred: One year of supervisory experience. Serv-Safe Training Certification.
Continuously (75 - 100% of time) performs a variety of tasks that involve standing, walking and sitting. Must be able to stand and walk continuously (75 - 100% of time). May have to lift up to one hundred pounds maximum less than 50% of the time.
May be required to push or pull materials or equipment less than 50% of the time. The capacity to drive and the availability of a car is preferred.
Must wear appropriate business attire and spends virtually all of the time inside. Appropriate attire includes hairnet or cap, clean chef-coat, apron or Midland Care polo shirt.
