We are seeking a Cook II to join our Dietary department. This position is Full-Time, scheduled 40 hours per week and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. We're looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, and dependable candidates that are team players with a positive attitude.

Location:
Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is located in The Dalles, Oregon. We work, live, and play in the scenic Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. Located 85 miles east of Portland in the majestic Columbia River Gorge, The Dalles features old-growth forests, rushing waterfalls, and year-round access to outdoor recreation, including downhill and cross-country skiing, world-class water sports, and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing hot foods for patients, cafeteria visitors and catering. Assists in the service of hot foods. May estimate food needs and order supplies. May also serve and portions food for patients, employees and visitors.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Current Food Handler's Certificate/Card for applicable County/State.
Valid Drivers License
Experience:
Minimum one year experience in institutional quantity cooking or similar level of experience strongly preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Able to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal as well as stressful conditions.
