Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) typically services long term care and nursing facilities and is now hiring a Cook in your area! HCSG has a custom, state of the art training program!

Position Summary

  • The Cook prepares and serves food including texture modified and therapeutic diets according to the facility menu.

  • Prepares food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, in line with our established policies and procedures, and, as may be directed by the Dining Services Director or Chef, to ensure that quality food service is provided at all times.

  • The Cook assists in assuring proper receiving, storage, preparation, serving, sanitation, and cleaning procedures are followed.

  • The Cook must be detail-oriented, well-groomed, act professionally and must be a team player who works well with others.

  • The Cook must assist dietary aides as necessary, and, directs other employees with approval and in the absence of the Dining Services Director.

  • The Cook consistently embodies the characteristics necessary to drive the Company's Purpose, Vision, Values, and DNA.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Specialized training in foodservice is desirable. May be required to successfully complete an approved sanitation and safety course.

  • Ability to read, speak and understand English, follow directions and complete tasks.

  • Ability to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving.

  • Maintains a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.

  • Dependable, with experience working in facilities utilizing quantity food production methods.

  • General knowledge and understanding of nutrition.

  • Ability to read and accurately apply requirements of food tray cards.

  • Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required.

  • Written and oral communication skills.

  • Knowledge of quantity food production and serving techniques, food safety/sanitation requirements and procedures.

  • Ability to interact positively with residents, client and other personnel and the public.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.

  • Must live in service area. No relocation costs.

The Enterprise Procurement Team is a key function within CVS Health's Finance organization. As the Strategic Sourcing Category Manager you will have overall responsibility for, but not limited to, the Supplies & Promotional Category. Other key areas may include Treasury & Risk Services as well as Finance Services. This role will be responsible for defining and executing sourcing strategies that drive P&L value across CVS Health's Shared Services spend categories (Supplies & Promo, Treasury & Risk, Finance Services, and Procurement Services). To achieve success in this role, the Category Manager must develop highly productive relationships with Operations leaders and key business stakeholders, and leverage tools such as spend analytics, market intelligence, and existing vendor agreements to build and maintain a pipeline of sourcing opportunities within the category. In this position, you will also play a meaningful role representing Procurement on large scale strategic enterprise initiatives and special projects (e.g. sourcing process transformation, acquisition integration, etc.). The Strategic Sourcing team manages over $5B in annual indirect spend across a range of non-IT categories that support key business units across the enterprise (Retail, PBM, Insurance, Specialty/Clinical, etc.). As a Category Manager on the Sourcing team, you should have an enterprise mindset, possess highly developed business background, and be a strong communicator who is able to establish lasting relationships with business leaders as well as internal and external stakeholders. This critical role reports to the Sr. Category Manager with overall responsibility for CVS Health's Shared Services spend. Responsibilities: * Effectively communicate Strategic Sourcing's value proposition and goals to key leaders and stakeholders * Partner with business leaders to identify cost savings opportunities; provide analytical support to quantify and prioritize projects with the highest value * Develop and maintain short, medium, and long term category sourcing plans, spend profiles, and project pipeline * Leverage spend analytics, market intelligence, and expiring contracts reporting to continuously build pipeline of opportunities for sourcing to address within category * Schedule and maintain cadence of regularly scheduled sourcing category reviews and planning sessions with key members of relevant business leadership teams within category * Maintain status of all completed, active, and planned sourcing activities to review with Strategic Sourcing management * Hold overall responsibility for all Sourcing activity conducted within category, be responsible for end-to-end execution of all sourcing activities with high impact and/or visibility within the organization. * Lead cost and commercial term negotiations with suppliers, collaborate with Legal and/or Contracts to mitigate contractual redlines prior to award * Develop and present comprehensive bid analysis packages, both quantitative and qualitative, to inform leadership's decisions on key projects * Collaborate with CVS Health's contracting team to identify new and creative approaches to contracting with vendor partners in the category space * Develop capabilities and knowledge base of analyst team supporting category projects * Develop processes to ensure that CVS Health's business stakeholders are utilizing preferred suppliers wherever possible, thereby leveraging the enterprise's scale to drive greater value for the company * Act as a Procurement ambassador, constructively supporting and coaching business stakeholders on best practices for procurement engagement and policy adherence. Required Qualifications * Minimum three years of experience in a role related to Strategic Sourcing, Finance, Supply Chain. * Experience utilizing the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) in a professional setting Preferred Qualifications * Strong analytical ability, ability to think strategically, and learn and process new information quickly. * Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to confidently and professionally interact with staff and leadership. * Proven ability to handle multiple tasks without direct supervision, while paying strong attention to detail and follow-up. * Proven ability to communicate effectively with executives and other leaders within the organization * Ability to quickly gather, analyze, and summarize data. * Strong organization and project management skills. * Eager to gain new experiences, qualifications, and responsibilities. * Experience with electronic sourcing platforms, such as Ariba eSourcing. * MBA preferred.
