Job Description Description: Job Summary : Responsible for sanitary, appetizing, appealing preparation and serving of all meals.

The cook will be responsible for maintaining sanitation of the food preparation Essential Duties and Responsibilities: o Prepare meals incorporating portion control procedures. Utilizing menus and recipes assigned by the supervisor o Prepare food and assist in serving of meals o Maintain cleanliness of equipment used in food preparation area o Prepare for serving refreshments or special meals or events o Perform assigned cleaning tasks as scheduled o Assist Dining Supervisor when necessary o Assist other dietary personnel when necessary Park Village Pines is a non-profit, Christian assisted living community for the elderly. Requirements: Qualifications : Previous experience and/or education in cooking / culinary skills o Ability to lift, push, pull at least 50 o Must be aware of the condition of equipment and dietary area. Advise manager of items needing maintenance or attention. o Must demonstrate superior skills and interest in the following duties and responsibilities. o Must be willing to perform repetitive tasks. o Be available to work weekends and holidays as necessary Must be adaptable, dependable Pay rate dependent upon experience: $15.50 per hour to start Compensation details: 15.5-15.5 Hourly Wage PI72397849eb79-25405-34339429
