The Waters is looking for an Float Cook (also titled a Chef) to join our integrated team of community professionals! This is a full-time position, and this position will travel weekly to our 9 MN Waters locations, as needed.

The Cook (also titled a Chef) prepares and serves high quality culinary dishes to our residents and guests in a timely manner. The Chef is responsible for preparing health menus of fresh ingredients and food presentation approved by the Director of Dining Services. Our restaurant and cafe function in a similar way to a hotel or private club restaurant and/or cafe.
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum of 5 years' scratch cooking experience in a restaurant or catering setting
Valid Food Services Sanitation Certificate
Certificate from an accredited culinary arts school preferred
Ability to produce exceptionally tasty and health meals from fresh ingredients for residents
Provides strong customer service orientation
Knowledge of multiple cooking techniques
knowledge of food control and food handling processes
Senior living experience preferred
