This position is located in the Dietary Services at the Crow Service Unit, Indian Health Service, Crow Agency, MT. Incumbent reports to the Dietitian.

  • Prepare foods according to diet orders, menus and standardized recipes for inpatients, hospital personnel and guest meals.

  • Monitor the preparation, and evaluate the condition of the food being prepared at frequent intervals to ensure optimum flavor, quality, and appearance.

  • Prepare food for cooking such as washing, peeling, chopping, and grinding for cooking. Roast, bake, fry, boil, and stew meats, fish, and poultry.

  • Observe high personal hygiene standards and all required safe food handling practices. Perform assigned cleaning duties as scheduled. Maintains food storages areas for cleanliness and proper storage and fool labeling.

Travel Required

Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
