Cook Assistant I - Luther Elementary School

High School graduate by diploma or equivalent; knowledge of food preparation and use of equipment used in large quantity cooking; ability to lift heavy items; able to work quickly and accurately; must pass skills test; ability to work harmoniously with general public, administrators, teachers, staff and students. Must possess valid motor vehicle operator license.

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, plan, organize and participate in food preparation and serve foods at an assigned site; assist in maintaining food service facilities, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition; perform cashiering, point of sales, and record-keeping duties, conduct inventory.
