Cook - Full-Time

Accura HealthCare of Newton East, a 54-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) located in Newton, IA, is seeking a Cook to join our team. Utilizing your culinary and customer service skills, Cooks prepare nutritious meals while forming meaningful relationships that positively impact residents' lives. CURRENT NEEDS: Full-time and part-time opportunities available with every other weekend rotation; 6a-2p, 2p-7:30p

Job Summary: Cooks assure that resident meals are prepared per residents' care plans, focusing on quality, appearance, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience serving within the restaurant industry and/or in a customer service role. Experience as a Cook within a healthcare setting is highly desired.

• Ability to read and understand directions.

• Able to interact professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents' families, and employees.

• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
