Overview

As a Cook 3, you will be a senior member of the kitchen team, responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation. This role requires extensive culinary expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop menu items and specials.

• Supervise all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency and quality.

• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and standards.

• Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and stock rotation.

• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper functioning.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent experience with several years in a professional kitchen.

• Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.

• Leadership and team management skills.

• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
