Cook 2 - (Part-Time)

The Cook 2 is a culinary position that requires basic to intermediate culinary skills or related cooking experience and good communication skills. This is typically a production position that requires total supervision and training.

Basic Job Duties and Expectations:

• Ability to prepare food according to recipe specifications and food preparation technique, in a timely and consistent manner.

• Make adjustment to food items to accommodate guest with allergies or specific diet concerns

• Deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multitasking.

• Determine food and supply needs based on menus

• Inspect food products and supplies as needed

• Control and minimize waste

• Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.

• Maintain clean and sanitize the kitchen, by regularly mopping, disinfecting the workspace, washing, and sanitizing all utensil and dishes. Dishwashing/pot washing as needed
