We are seeking a dedicated professional who will be fully responsible for the continuous operation of the distribution center automation systems. The ideal candidate can earn between $60,000.00 and $75,000.00 per year.

  • Responsible for ensuring the conveyor system is safe, efficient and operational 100% of warehouse hours.

  • Understands all systems and components both mechanical and electrical.

  • Understands all hardware components and software applications.

  • Proactively perform all preventative maintenance tasks according to schedule.

  • Cleaning and housekeeping of all conveyor system parts and areas including the conveyor itself, the spare parts shelves, toolboxes, and workbench area.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair conveyor.

  • Resolve issues efficiently ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Ensure tool inventory is kept at 100%.

  • Maintenance of any software programs related to this position.

  • Updating Preventative Maintenance procedures and spare parts inventories etc.

  • Being on duty for an 8-hour shift daily with a flexible start time to accommodate needed maintenance and prepared to stay if problems arise.

  • On-call for all emergencies by phone and onsite if required.

  • Training of all warehouse personnel regarding safety and care of the conveyor system as it pertains to their position.

  • Scheduling and/or reporting of all maintenance needed or done with the Warehouse Operations Manager.

  • Any low level non-conveyor mechanical work needed by the company when time allows and as assigned by the Warehouse Operations Manager

This position is responsible for a wide variety of facilities, maintenance, and utilities requirements across a large fulfillment center. What you'll do: * You will perform maintenance and repair, housekeeping and plumbing, metal fabrication and carpentry to support our fast-paced fulfillment center operations. * Ensure that all fulfillment center equipment is operating properly and ensure a safe working environment for all your fulfillment team members. * Complete periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility - as assigned and according to schedule. * Perform daily inspections of conveyor systems, shipping, and packing equipment areas. * Maintain accountability for assigned equipment and associated gear list, reducing loss, damage, and defects to zero. * Complete repair order and maintain parts usage records. * Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, you will visually check, test, and evaluate the condition of components, equipment, and circuits. * Follow company procedures. What you'll need: * At least 36 months of previous facility maintenance experiencen * (Mechanics and Maintainers, Construction and Engineering, Aviation and Transportation Repair) * Must have electrical experience or understandingn * Must be able to demonstrate electrical knowledge of 24v ac/dc control circuits * Must be able to demonstrate electrical knowledge of 120v power u0026amp; control circuits * Must be able to demonstrate electrical knowledge of 277v-480v power circuits * Experience using appropriate tools and maintenance equipment. * Ability to lift 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. * Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work at ground level, with the ability to climb and work at elevations up to 35 feet above floor level. * Interest in math, electricity, shop mechanics, electric motors, and appliances * Good at solving problems * Understand potential exposure exists to high voltage current, welding equipment, vehicle and equipment lubricants and solvents. * Ability to work nights and weekends. * Experience with fire system and fire alarm electronic devices. * Ability to read, understand u0026amp; interpret electrical, pneumatic, u0026amp; plumbing schematics. * Experience with conveyor mechanical systems (belts, drives, tracking valves). * Experience with VFD motor controllers * Experience with motor starters and control cabinet * PLC knowledge - input/outputs troubleshooting or some programming * HVAC - advanced knowledge or experience. * Communicate preventative maintenance and repair opportunities as well as escalation of resources outside of normal hours when needed, to ensure system performance.n * Can communicate, make sound decisions, work well under pressure * Recognize problems and repair before breakdown occurs * Proactive problem solving u0026amp; mechanical aptitude skills. * Ability and willingness to train others If you have a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act or similar law, or you require a religious accommodation, and you wish to discuss potential accommodations related to applying for employment at our company, please contact Chewy Reno NV
