What does a great Conversion Analyst do?

As a Conversion Analyst, you will work closely with our clients, Client Services team, developers, and project management to serve as the business subject matter expert (SME) in maintaining and growing the existing business through thorough business and technical requirements. As a Conversion Analyst, you can look forward to:

  • Understanding the scope of client requests and client business rules, translating the requirements into a clear and detailed Business Requirements Document (BRD) to be reviewed and endorsed by the client and internal project teams. Programmers build the core solution or improvement based on the Conversion Analyst's BRD. The results are then given to Software Quality Assurance to ensure that the programming changes support the requirements through User Acceptance and Regression testing and validation.

  • Verifying changes made to ensure they meet customer requirements.

  • Configuring changes using tables or web enabled tools to set up the client's customization.

  • Setting up and delivering training to the customer to use web enable tools to manage message content, logos etc.

  • Supporting changes requested or required by our production floor to ensure production standards are followed.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • 5+ years of experience as a business/technical analyst or related role.

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (internal and client facing)
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, MS Office Suite, and Internet Explorer.

VIEW JOBS 4/24/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-23T00:00 Description We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person to work within our Order Management team in Stafford, Texas. The overall responsibility of an order management analyst is to ensure that customer orders and production schedules are aligned to meet contractual delivery dates and optimize customer satisfaction. Responsibilities * Management of backlog priorities and overall project execution * Measure the overall site performance of initial Order commit date and through the site availability date and ensures discrepancies are identified and corrected * Ensures backlog ageing is regionally tracked and any critical issues are identified and reviewed with a focus on both the solution and customer communication. * Track order cancellations, changes, delays and any associate cost recovery * Establishes an ongoing Past Due recovery plan with Manufacturing sites * Responsible for monitoring the finished goods inventory and shipment resolution. * Internal first point of contact for the customer after the sales order information. * Manage Customer change order request. * Provide varied phone and e-mail support to customers related to customer satisfaction issues. * Involved with proactive programs to advise customer in advance of any shipping/schedule changes. * Provide support to customers regarding expediting and shipping schedule commitments. * Support the external sales team where direct customer liaison is required * Provide shipment information * Ensure customer response times are at their optimal level * Liaise with customers, suppliers and Emerson sites regarding order related issues * Accountability to ensure customer commitments are delivered upon * Develop strong and professional customer relationships at all levels Requirements: * Associates Degree in Business or a technical field and minimum one (1) year of relevant experience in a similar role * Strong Analytical skills * Self-motivated and have a positive attitude * Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team * Excellent computer skills, ability to work with detail, solid math skills excellent written, verbal, and communication skills * Good interpersonal skills * Problem Solving ability * Detail and metric oriented * Team player * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * SAP experience a plus Additional Skills Required: * Excellent customer focus skills including interpersonal and communication skills are vital for this role. Listening skills are also important. Good organizational skills and problem solving abilities are necessary. The successful candidate will have strong computer skills, ability to work with detail and solid math skills. Knowledge of valves and SAP would be valuable. Work Conditions: This is a team environment so the ability to lead and be part of a team is critical. Work will be primarily conducted in a climate-controlled office setting with a minimal flow of people. Occasional work will take place in a manufacturing plant environment where high levels of noise and/or heat may occur. Work Authorization No calls or agencies please.
