Description

As a Finance Internat Converse, you will be responsible for driving the forecasting, planning, andfinancial consolidations at the product, regional, or global level. Youwill gain insight into the main drivers of our business, and have theopportunity to directly influence the future state of Converse through crossfunctional collaboration with key business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and distribute timely and insightful financial analysis to determine progress against strategic plan, budget and forecast. Interpret and review monthly financial results with finance and key business partners and actively participate in determining business goals.

  • Prepare management reporting and make recommendations on the business to the leadership team.

  • Participate cross functionally in the strategic and business planning process from a financial perspective. Develop internal and external partnerships that leverage resources and improve business unit responsiveness.

  • Drive process improvement across areas of inefficiency within the finance function

  • Ensure integrity of financial statements (management and statutory) and compliance with US GAAP

  • Ad hoc (scenario analysis, Nike requests, internal updates, presentations)

Qualifications

  • Working towards Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Operations or related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Interacts well with diverse network of global business partners

  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions

  • Desire to drive efficiency, process improvement, and to enhance understanding of business drivers

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with SAP & Business Objects a plus
