Whatyou will do

Underdirect supervision and using established standards, responsible for hardwaredesigns and software programming for HVAC controls systems to meet the intent ofthe project requirements. Provides detailed information and submittals tocommunicate design and operation to customers, consultants, team andsubcontractors.

Howyou will do it
1.Performshardware designs for flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material,network layouts and schematics as required.
2.Performssoftware programming using established standards as a basis of design or customas required.
3.Coordinatesthe creation of necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals andinstallation.
4.Selects,orders, and tracks the delivery of materials for assigned projects. Coordinatesprocesses to meet factory and project schedule.
5.Assistsin the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers asrequired. Assists in validation of complete system functionality andtroubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure properoperation.
6.Gathersfield changes from the project team and creates as-built drawings and software.Prepares proper documentation and/or manuals for systemoperation.
7.Keepsmanagement and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress andissues.
8.Assistsin performing site-specific training for owner / operator on the totalsystem.
9.Completespaperwork including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-sitedocumentation.
10. Adheresto safety standards, local and national codes. High degree of regard to employeeand subcontractor safety.

Whatwe look for

Required

Threeyears minimum experience with installing and / or commissioning controls systemsincluding system-level controllers.

Demonstratedknowledge of control systems.

Demonstratedtechnical aptitude.

Demonstratedadvanced computer skills required, particularly computer-related draftingtools.

Requirements * Relevant work experience: Minimum of 5 years of engineering work experience is required. * Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Engineering program * Specialized knowledge or technical background in automation and controls to be able to create PLC designs and write PLC programs. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer management skills. * Professional Engineer's License is desired.
