Controls Engineer

Dematic has an immediate need for a Controls Engineer. Candidates will have a minimum of 2+ years' experience in controls engineering. Qualified candidates are proficient in PLC communications, Equipment Management Software. Creating schematic and panel assembly drawings, working with PLCs and HMIs, and implementation and commissioning of engineering design projects.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $71,000 to $105,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This Is What You Will Do in This Role

• Completes the design of complex systems that integrate hardware and software.

• Spearheads complex material specification, schematic (drawings) preparation and appropriate follow-up.

• Performs technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.

• Ensures standard work packages are followed.

• Performs important areas of standard professional-level work that typically requires processing and interpreting more complex, less clearly defined issues.

• Demonstrates the basic understanding of project execution principles.

What We Are Looking For

• BS/BA in electrical engineering or equivalent degree.

• 2+ years of successful experience in related field.

• Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of complex assignments.

• Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.

• Proficient in AutoCAD a plus.

• Proficient in Allen Bradley, Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.

• Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus.

• Experience in Scanning Devices using Photo recognition and/or Placement photo eyes.

• Ability to travel up to 40%
