Controls Engineer

Our highly skilled distribution center team is looking for a Controls Engineer to collaborate with our valued maintenance teams to keep things running, our business in motion, and our customers successful.

This position is located in Douglasville, GA

As a Controls Engineer, you will provide technical expertise, support, and training to the Douglasville GA warehouse team. There will be an emphasis on stabilizing system performance and developing the local maintenance team's skill set through training, assessments, and support. You will be the primary support person managing complex system breakdowns and responsible for developing troubleshooting guidelines.

While no two days will look alike- here is a snapshot of some of the things you'll be doing:

• This position will work with our U.S. Distribution Maintenance teams and the Center of Excellence team to share progress, discuss strategy, and receive guidance on future needs.

• Manage schedules, workload, multiple projects, and timelines

• Support and implement educational plans to develop staff

• Provide Technical Support to the business as needed (On Call)

• After 18-24 months travel will be an integral part of this role, and you will be expected to travel 60-70%

• Automated Material Handling System

• Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge of Equipment Operations

• Control Methodologies

• Refrigeration Systems

• Computer and Software Controls

• PLC, SQL, and Graphical HMI

Does this look like you?

• 7 years of experience in Industrial Technology or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

• 5 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience is Preferred.

• Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Technology
