Would you like to use your PLC/Controls Engineer background at a growing manufacturing plant in Deland, FL?

The Controls Engineer is responsible programming new and current manufacturing equipment.

This position is part of the Engineering Department and will be located onsite in the Deland, FL manufacturing plant.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Support existing custom automation equipment

• Scope and document new and replacement equipment

• Determine innovative solutions to solve challenging problems

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Associate or certificate in Controls/PLC, bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

• 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area

• Experience working with PLCs, electrical design, programming, testing, installation and maintenance of large-scale electronically controlled equipment or machinery

• Strong troubleshooting skills with automated equipment

• Knowledgeable with electrical schematics, control panel design, and wiring skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience with logic auto-generation from templates

• Experience in automotive, mechanical machine repair, heavy manufacturing, automated equipment, or water/wastewater industries

• Knowledge of coding in ABB, Automation Direct, GE Proficy, Yaskawa Motionworks, AB Rockwell, ControlLogix, PLC5, SLC500s and Panelview
