Controls Engineer

Description:

• Looking for a controls engineer to help get projects caught up on. Projects include helping to create a new product with Servo motors and safety proc sensors

• Controls Engineer involve PLC code and modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing code for Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.

Duties are as follows:

Perform hands-on controls troubleshooting of PLCs and equipment in the shop - troubleshooting includes electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic

Collaborate between departments - engineering, sales, procurement - to ensure controls projects are on time and on budget

Assist with building complex automated systems for customers

Monitor system effectiveness and provides troubleshooting support on new machine builds

Repair machinery on site

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors or Associates in engineering-related discipline preferred; High School Diploma required

Experience performing hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

Experience writing PLCs from scratch, including Allen Bradley (required) and Siemens (preferred)
