Description:

Controls Engineer: PLC, HMI & Robot Programming (need experience in 2 of the 3 key areas)

PLCs:

• 3+ years experience creating new PLC programs (more than monitoring or minor edits).

• Experience with digital I/O, analog, sequencing, function blocks, PID, communications, ethernet

• Experience with stepping and servo motors

• Preferred experience with Omron, AB, or Siemens

HMIs:

• 3+ years experience creating new HMI "Human Machine Interface" programs.

• Experience with setup and programming an industrial PC

• Experience with driver sheets, scripts, sequel data base, animation, communications, ethernet

• Preferred experience with Indusoft, Wonderware Intouch, AB Panel View, or similar

Robotics:

• 3+ years experience creating new single or multi 6 axis robot programs

• Experience with setup, configuration and startup of robot (user frames or work objects)

• Experience with basis robot motion, understanding of coordinate systems, DCS, communications, ethernet

• Preferred experience with ABB, Fanuc, or similar

• Experience with Scara or cartesian robots can be applied

• Understands 3 Dimensional Relationships and both fixed coordinate systems and dynamic tool coordinate systems.

• ABB WorkObject implementation, teaching and programming. Understand User components vs. Object components.

• ABB datatypes (Tooldata, Wobjdata, Speeddata, Numdata, Pers vs. Var, etc…)

• Fanuc UserFrame implementation, teaching and programming.

• Fanuc ToolFrame implementation, teaching and programming.

• Establish communication across a bus to a PLC and map analog and digital signals in and out.

• Work with and collaborate with a team of engineers and programmers to integrate robots to a unified overall solution.
