Description:
- Program show control systems fabricated or procured by Technifex (TFX). • Design, review, and interpret electrical and electronic blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. • Develop daily and weekly plans/goals for task and resource management. • Conduct daily inspections to ensure all assigned work meets quality control standards. • Comply with all regulatory safety and company policies. • Comply with client contractual standards. • Maintain workstations and assigned shop areas in a clean and presentable manner. • Proactively communicate work progress with Production Manager and Project Manager, informing of any schedule, safety, or other concerns. • Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks. • Collaborate with internal team members. • Develop thorough knowledge of TFX products. • Enthusiasm for continued learning, desire to learn new software programs and develop skill sets. • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus. • Supervise, train, and develop staff.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Skilled in operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment. • Skilled with using tools and equipment used for electrical fabrication. • Skilled with UL508A standards. • Advanced understanding of electrical, controls, and electronic principles. • Basic working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook). • Availability and willingness to travel domestically and abroad for potentially extended lengths of time. • Expertise in drafting/reading AutoCAD assembly and schematic drawings. • Self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic team player • Able to perform ordinary walking, climbing, standing, frequent lifting up to 35 lbs., and occasional assisted lifting up to 60 lbs. Required: • Minimum of 3 years' control system design experience (5-10 years preferred), preferably within the themed entertainment industry • PLC & HMI programming experience Desired: • Experience with Flame Effects, Special Effects or Show Action Equipment a plus • 2 years AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks drafting experience • Electrical, technical, or related vocational training • Associates degree (or higher)
