Summary: We are currently looking to fill our Controller position located at our Warrenville IL. facility.

This hands-on position requires In-depth experience regarding US Payroll and Taxation/Transfer Payments, 10-15 years of progressive accounting experience, BA/BS in Accounting and CPA preferred. Possess a strong working understanding of SAP or other related ERP's applicable to accounting and inventory control. Prior supervisory experience within accounting/payroll function desired; position will manage of 2 direct reports and be actively involved in daily operations. Reporting to VP of Operations, the Controller Manager will:

Oversee and direct treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, benefits and insurance activities for the organization in addition to managing banking, partner vendor relationships

Establish and implement finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.

Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.

Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Production and Sales in reviewing existing and new business opportunities for profitability and risk.

Develop finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.

Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances. The Controller will not only manage the financials but also partner with Senior Leadership in the US and German to contribute to broad business decisions and act as an operational leader as well.

Report financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements. Establish and maintain monthly financial reports for business.

Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Lead and develop assigned staff to increase involvement and understanding of business practices.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills and executive presence.
