We in Danske Bank are looking for an ambitious, hard-working Controller to help us meet the demands of our customers and the future growth in the business. Is that you?

You will join the Swedish Depositary Service team, which is part of Danske Bank's global Depositary Service team. Our global team has a great diversity of profiles with complementary competences within areas such legal, finance, IT etc., but we are all dedicated and committed to cross-border collaboration and providing the best service to our customers. The objective is to provide regulatory investor protection service by engaging in a constructive, value-adding dialogue with the customer based on the oversight and understanding of the fund customer's activities as well as knowledge on the governing rules and regulations.

Your main responsibilities will be to ensure oversight of investment funds, including periodic controls in order to ensure that the clients are compliant with regulatory requirements. This include daily interaction and follow up's with our clients in regards to monitoring of fund cash flow, investment restrictions, subscription & redemptions, reconciliations etc. You will also participate in periodic on-site visits in our client offices.

Who are you?

In order to succeed we believe you have a university degree in Economics, legal or finance and 1-2 years' relevant experience from banking or working with investment funds. You have an understanding of financial instruments and/or experience in working with regulation, preferably UCITS and AIFMD. Moreover, you have a strong analytical mind-set that enables you to grasp and understand complex structures with ease, as well as, the ability to read and understand legal documentation, which is an advantage.

You like to work independently and are self-driven in addition to being organised, having an eye for detail and a systematic approach that enables you to rapidly acquire in-depth knowledge. Collaboration, being proactive, flexible and thriving with deadlines as well as having a positive mind-set and a can do-attitude to achieve the best feasible result in a busy and fast-changing environment is important to succeed in the role.

Along this are you analytical and social by nature. Your personal skills are as highly important as the rest of requirements. The position requires excellent communication skills in English and Swedish.

This is a temporary position that lasts for 6 month with chance of extension.

The solution optimizes sale prices for each individual article throughout the period of Sale.
