With a collaborative culture and supportive leadership, we offer a great opportunity for a Controller to take on a pivotal role in managing accounting functions for a portfolio of properties. Responsibilities: •Oversee property accounting functions at both the corporate and individual property levels (75% of the role). •Focus on acquisitions, integrating new properties, and coordinating with lenders (25% of the role). •Manage a team of 3-5 people within the accounting department. •Collaborate closely with the executive team on strategic initiatives. Must-Have Skills: •Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. •Proven experience in property management accounting, with a focus on multi-family properties. •Proficiency in property management software, including Appfolio, Yardi, RealPage, or similar. •Strong understanding of property acquisitions and onboarding processes. •Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
