Position Overview:

Provides leadership and oversight of all functions of Pure Power's finance and accounting department. Work closely with the Managing Director to drive business results and provide strategic direction. Oversees financial department staff in day-to-day operations.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

• Managing all finance and accounting operations

• Oversight and ownership of the monthly financial close process, including Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements with comparison to budget/forecast

• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and variance reports

• Cash flow management

• Ensuring compliance with local authorities/agencies, statutory law, financial regulations, etc.

• Prepares all documents relating to internal controls for financial management of operation in accordance with the established Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Coordinates year-end and preliminary audit processes

• Ability to research and understand Technical Accounting Standards in order to adopt and implement as needed

• Streamlining accounting functions and operations

• Interfaces with senior level Management on a periodic basis

• Capably handles several projects simultaneously and works effectively under pressure to meet deadlines

• Performs miscellaneous related duties and special projects as assigned

Here is some of what you'll need (required):

CPA or MBA desired

• Bachelor's Degree with Major in Accounting or Finance

• Experience Level: Management level

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in areas of general accounting and financial statement preparation.

• Manufacturing experience considered a plus

Additional Qualifications include:

US GAAP accounting and compliance a must

• Financial statement preparation

• Ability to lead a Finance team of 3-5 people

• Ability to research possible technical solutions for accounting issues

• Highly detail oriented, organized in work, and desire to learn

• Proficiency in all Microsoft products

• SAP or JD Edwards skills a plus but not required

• Public Accounting a must including CPA
