New opportunity for a Controller with a growing nonprofit organization in the Pensacola, Florida area! Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting for a Controller for our client to play a key role on the executive leadership team. To be considered for an interview, candidates must have the following: ? 4 year accounting degree ? 5+ years of progressive accounting experience and at least 1+ years at a Controller/Accounting Manager/Senior level. ? Non-profit industry experience a plus ? Financial reporting, month end close, financial statement prep and full cycle accounting experience a must ? Ability to handle both high level and day to day functions while working directly with accounting/administration team, executive leaders and operations ? Strong technology and ERP experience a must. Requirements

  • Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

  • Self-starter and strong ethical standards

  • Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

  • Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why" - High attention to detail

  • QuickBooks experience preferred

  • Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger

  • Progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred

Description Position Located: Pensacola, FL Shift: Mon-Fri, 3:00pm-11:30pm (5% shift premium) Overtime as needed $25.00 - $30.00/hr - depending on experience An Electrical/Mechanical Technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs all types of equipment generally found in manufacturing which includes (not limited too): boilers, chillers, air compressors, air handlers, water treatment, control equipment including process instrumentation and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), and frequency drives. This position will work with little or no supervision and capable of working independently. Essential Job Functions: Executes preventive and corrective maintenance activities on production, facilities, and auxiliary equipment including, but not limited to: PLC's, including I/O cards, processors, and communication modules, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), Electric and pneumatic two position and proportioning control valves, Electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical single and multiple channel process controllers, or other electromechanical devices, Boilers, air compressors, air handlers, chillers, pumps/motors, cooling towers, and purified water treatment systems. Perform motor/pump alignments; Perform basic vibration analysis (data collection); Performs true root cause analysis and effective repair of same equipment, including continuous improvement; Document associated work within CMMS; Purchases and maintain equipment, components, spare parts, or repair supplies in accordance with prescribed policies. Job Requirements Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Ability to maintain, troubleshoot problems, repair, and report findings on Facilities and Manufacturing electrical and mechanical equipment, normally as demonstrated by 4 to 5 years of experience with industrial equipment or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Ability to perform vibration analysis (data collection). Ability to perform motor/pump alignments. Ability to read, comprehend and follow complicated written and verbal instructions, including: Ability to read complex electrical schematics, including PLC I/O schematics, and apply this information; effectively to completion of assigned tasks; Ability to maintain electrical schematics, when changed. Changes to schematics to be performed by others. Ability to perform basic arithmetic using algebraic functions. Ability to develop and draft complicated written instructions, electrical schematics, and other equipment documentation. Ability to obtain and, or maintain required electrical license. Understand and apply NEC (preferred). Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work in a self-directed and high paced work environment, successfully organize/prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects. Competency in the use of the latest versions of the following software packages or equivalent: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (required), MP2 Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or equivalent (required), Allen Bradley RS 5000 (optional), Wonder ware Factory Suite (optional). General administrative ability including typing, filing, distributing communication, and other as may be required. Ability and willingness to be assigned as "On Call" support, to work overtime at short notice, and to work on typical holiday periods or off normal shift hours. Physical ability and willingness to: Stand, walk and bend up to 80% of a typical day, Lift up to 50 pounds, Climb stairs and ladders, Work in elevated/overhead areas.
