We are building next-generation fashion brands in NYC, we have constructed a multi-million dollar digital manufacturing facility in the Dominican Republic and we are building the infrastructure to enable us to offer our capabilities to the entire industry.

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Controller to join our growing team in our New York office. As a key member of the finance team, you will work closely on all aspects of the business including staff management, day-to day accounting, systems, processes, and financial reporting. Reporting to the CEO, you will have the opportunity to directly impact our operations and grow into a leadership role as we continue to expand our company.


  • Ensure all day-to-day activity is completed timely and accurately across all aspects of the general ledger, including AP and AR for Resonance and it's brands.
  • Coordinate and work with our remote accounting staff and processes in our Dominican Republic factory
  • Assist in the development and preparation of daily / weekly / monthly management reports and KPI metrics, including full balance sheet reconciliations, Actual Vs Budget P&L variance analysis, and cash balances.
  • Monitoring entity-level balance sheet capitalization to ensure funding in accordance with operating agreements
  • Serve as the point person for the company's external audit; manage auditor relationship, oversee preparation and coordinate all audit inquiries and requests
  • Prepare information required for monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns


  • 5-10 years of relevant Accounting experience
  • CPA preferred, but not required
  • Possess strong data ninja skills to help extract and identify trends and/or potential opportunities risks
  • Effective business partner with strong communication skills able to effectively collaborate across departments
  • Advanced excel skills and experience working with popular startup / SaaS ERP solutions (e.g. QuickBooks, Fishbowl, Intacct, NetSuite)
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, fast growing company
