Controller Packing House

Here's what you'll do:

• Communicate expectations through monthly one-on-one and Operation Finance team meetings Responsible for employee life cycle, including interviewing, onboarding, performance management & promotion and termination Identify inefficiencies and implement lean practices

• Secure highly sensitive and confidential financial data and information

• Ensures a strong analytical mindset, business process excellence and critical thinking skills

• Complete special projects and requests

• Participates in the design in testing of new systems, automated processes, and reporting tools

• Coordinate, lead and track month-end close process

• Develop annual/quarterly budget for Operating facilities that align with company financial goals and objectives

• Compile monthly financial results to Operators team

• Provide financial analysis and oversight of capital investment and cash flow requirements

• Monitor Fusion (ERP) workflow process to maximize functionality within operations department and standardize across all operating facilities

• Maintain Accounting rules up to date in fusion (ERP)

• Develop and maintain Operational KPIs

• Analyze labor and p ack material variances. Provide feedback to plant personnel on a weekly basis

• Ensures data accuracy for fruit flow of inventory from receiving to sales

• Tracks shrinkage of fruit and pack materials

• Reviews overhead spending and identifies saving opportunities

• Create and approve journal entries in the General Ledger

• Approve vendor invoices

• Review weekly payroll journals and post to the GL

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a business-related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 5+ years Accounting/Finance or related experience

• Solid understanding with Oracle applications or any cloud software-based programs

• Knowledgeable with MS Office

• Advanced in Excel including pivot tables and functions

• Expert in Fusion reporting tools

• Proficient in Smart View

• ADP

• GAAP
